Yellow Toe nails

Toenail fungus causes Yellow toenails. This systematic infection enters the body through a lesion around the nail bed. When the fungi’s are growing well colored pigments are produced by them. Those that grow in nails produce a brownish or yellowish color. It is always advised to visit a doctor to be confirmed of the toenail fungus. But one should never avoid such problems due to the fear of embarrassment.

It is not always necessary that yellow toenails should be uniformly colored. Some toenails can be affected and the fungus could be found growing in other parts of some nails producing a yellow streak. Various types of treatment are given for yellow toe nails. An oral medication is often prescribed by doctors that should be taken daily or may be a few months or a year in order to get rid of the infection. Since it is a bit expensive many people try to avoid this treatment. Tropical nail lacquer is also prescribed for such infections.

But natural remedies work probably better for Yellow toe nails. These penetrate deep into the nail and soften the nail. They are much more effective for treating the fungus. So if you are suffering from such a problem stop caring about the social embarrassment and ugliness and immediately consult a doctor. The fungus lying deep rooted in your nails can cause much bigger problems for you. It is ideal to start the treatment before this infection reaches the lenula.
