Gel Manicure

A Gel Manicure is a kind of manicure that makes use of a gel and binds the synthetic nails with the natural nails. Gel nails are much stronger than acrylic nails and have less chances of breaking.  To keep them healthy and strong gel can also be used for natural nails. Gel nails are clearly colored and so the fingernails below still can shine under it. The gel is soft white color and thus it enhances the faded or dull white parts of fingernail tips.

As gel nails are odorless a gel manicure is often preferred by people than an acrylic one. Gel nails are more natural and healthier than acrylic nails. Moreover the gel nails being much more flexible and due to its bonding with the natural ones these type of manicures looks much more realistic. During this manicure the gel after being applied on the nails is treated under ultraviolet light. The durable gel easily sticks to the fingernails. Filing them off removes the gel nails and after filing they also don’t damage the natural nails.

The health of natural nails is also improved by gel manicure. This gel acts a protective barrier against moisture or any other elements that may damage the nails. After a gel manicure the natural nails become more strong and durable provided they were cut and properly taken care of before the manicure. This type of manicure lasts for at least two weeks and gives a shiny and glossy look to your nails.
